Catch 23 Recording's oldest resident project, borne out of Paul Cowling & Jarrod Rone's utter disillusionment with the traditional forms of generic musical expression with which they had been involved for over a decade. A jury-rigged collision of free electric guitar, shortwave radio, analogue synth, and effects, recorded on-the-fly on primitive 'radio-shack' equipment. Quality early lo-fi experimentalism gradually develops into a more nuanced, higher fidelity sound over the six releases.

TFH / RCN 'Places of Safety' C23CDR002

TRAILER FOR HADES 'Black Piano' C23CDR014
Though they set out into a bleak and diffuse landscape of shortwave emissions and general dissonance, TFH find some kind of coherence and resolution over the course of this 54 minute improvisation. Good one. (Black and white wallet package.)

Dispute over cause of death unravels over two long tracks of 'relatively minimal dissonance'. (Black and white wallet package.)
