Despite
colliding infrequently over the past few years EPE remain
Catch 23's pivotal project. A synthesis of members of
its various associated projects, EPE continue the live-mixed,
long-form, electroacoustic performance method first used
on C23 by Trailers for Hades circa 2001.
Percussive instrumentation, guitars, bass, violin, synths
& samples all played and mixed live, EPE specialise
in subtle, tactile minimalism and expansive spatial ambience.

the Mind of Someone Who Didn't Attend Goldsmith's College'

A two hour audio negotiation on the institutional nature
of avant-garde art, that dissolves modernism and post-modernism
into an aestheticised homogeneity of superficial conceptualism
and commodified resistance. Prodding discursive formations
with a paradoxically shitty stick, EPE produce folk-woven
audio mulch of introverted electronics and unstable, primitive,
percussive clatter. A TRIUMPH!!!

EPE's acoustic kireru rumination; an apprehension of the
antagonisms between the liberal humanist notion of the
self-determining autonomous subject, the rigidity of institutional
and infrastructural discipline, and the alienating effect
of a collective existence.

Conducted as part of Operation Dominic was a series of
high altitude tests known as Operation Fishbowl. The purpose
was to establish a normalization or reference point for
future high yield designs. The yield was slightly lower
than expected. Within two days it had broken up into small
patches and spread out for 5 to 8 miles.
